A mother’s perspective on gunshots

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

This comment is from a mother, now a grandmother, who still vividly remembers the experience of keeping her small children indoors during hunting season…

“When I lived in Pennsylvania, during small game season, especially the first day, I would not let my children out of the house.  It was not safe.  We lived in suburban and rural areas and, on occasion, you could hear the shot whizzing by you.  Many hunters were trigger happy and would shoot at almost anything without too much caution.”
