Rare northern emerald dragonfly discovery in the Netherlands

Today, Dutch conservation Landschap Overijsselreports that a rare species, the northern emerald dragonfly, has been found reproducing in Wierdense Veld nature reserve.

Probably, these insects have benefited from a higher water level in the reserve.
